Gym Rules

These rules apply to all BlueGym facilities and all members, walk-in users, and guests. By entering our premises, you agree to abide by the following guidelines. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership.
1. General Conduct
- Treat all members, staff, and visitors with respect and courtesy
- Follow instructions from BlueGym staff at all times
- Keep noise levels reasonable — avoid excessive grunting, slamming weights, or playing music without headphones
- Clean up after yourself and leave equipment and common areas tidy
- Do not engage in personal training of others without BlueGym authorization
2. Dress Code
- Wear proper athletic attire suitable for exercise
- Closed-toe athletic shoes are required at all times on the gym floor
- No jeans, sandals, flip-flops, or open-toe footwear
- Shirts or tops must be worn at all times
- Avoid clothing with offensive imagery or language
3. Equipment Usage
- Re-rack weights — return all dumbbells, plates, and barbells to their designated racks after use
- Wipe down machines — use the provided cleaning supplies to wipe equipment after every use
- No hogging equipment — limit your time on machines to 20 minutes during peak hours; allow others to work in between sets
- Report damage — notify staff immediately if any equipment is damaged or malfunctioning
- Do not drop or slam weights unnecessarily
- Use equipment only for its intended purpose
4. Hygiene
- Bring a towel and use it on equipment and benches
- Shower etiquette — keep shower usage brief during peak hours and clean up after yourself
- Use deodorant and maintain personal hygiene before using the gym
- Dispose of rubbish in the provided bins
- Do not spit in common areas, water fountains, or sinks
5. Access & Entry
All members must check in upon each visit using one of the following methods:
- Facial recognition (if registered)
- Member ID verification
- QR code scan (walk-in users)
Membership Access Windows
- Monthly Membership — full access during all operating hours
- Weekend — Friday 7 PM to Sunday 11:59 PM (Pelikat & CCK only)
- Walk-in — 3-hour access from time of payment
Walk-in Access Policy
The following terms apply to all walk-in (non-member) sessions:
- 3-hour maximum per pass — access expires automatically
- Access starts from time of payment
- No sharing of access — each pass is valid for one person only
- No piggybacking or tailgating through entry points
- The system logs your entry time for security and access control
- Access may be revoked without refund for misuse or violation of gym rules
- Facial data is used solely for entry authentication and is not shared with third parties
- Data retention: facial data and access logs are automatically removed after 60 days of inactivity
Entry outside your plan's access window will be denied. You may upgrade your plan via the member dashboard at any time.
6. Personal Belongings & Lockers
- Lockers are available for use during your visit — bring your own lock
- BlueGym is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings
- No overnight storage — all items must be removed before closing time
- Unclaimed items will be disposed of after 7 days
- Do not leave belongings on the gym floor or equipment
7. Photography & Recording
- Do not photograph or video record other members without their explicit consent
- Selfies and personal workout recordings are permitted in designated areas only
- No live streaming on the gym floor
- BlueGym reserves the right to use facility photos for promotional purposes (common areas only)
8. Guests
- Non-members are not permitted on the gym floor unless on a valid guest pass or walk-in session
- Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests
- Guest passes must be arranged in advance through the front desk or member dashboard
9. Age Restrictions
- Members must be 16 years of age or older
- Members aged 16–17 require written parental or guardian consent
- Children under 16 are not permitted in gym or workout areas
10. Prohibited Items & Substances
- No glass containers or bottles
- No weapons of any kind
- No illegal or banned substances
- No alcohol or smoking (including e-cigarettes) on premises
- No outside food in workout areas
11. Safety
- Report all injuries to staff immediately, no matter how minor
- Familiarise yourself with emergency exits and evacuation procedures
- First aid kits are available at the front desk
- Use a spotter when lifting heavy weights
- Do not block walkways, exits, or emergency equipment with personal belongings or gym bags
12. Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviours will result in immediate membership termination without refund:
- Harassment, intimidation, or threatening behaviour towards members or staff
- Use of prohibited or illegal substances on premises
- Deliberate damage to gym property or equipment
- Sharing membership access or credentials with non-members
- Any illegal activity on BlueGym premises
- Theft from the facility, staff, or other members
